The Department of Tamil was established in the year 2012. Currently Dr. Y. Burgmonds is the Head of the Department. There are 6 staff members working in the department. All the staff members are UGC Qualified (NET/SET/Ph.D) holders . Our staff members are actively involved in the research work and published nearly 50 research papers in reputed peer reviewed national and international journals. The Staff members of the Department have served as members of different committees of our college.
